Trichrome Seeds was founded in Bangkok in 2026 by three growers who'd spent twenty combined years buying from seed banks that overpromised, mislabeled, and disappeared on warranty claims. We started this to be the opposite of that — patiently, in public, and at a fair price.
What an 11/10 reputation costs us — and why we pay it.
Honest specifications, even when they hurt the sale.
If a strain is finicky, we say so on the page. If a yield number is on the optimistic side, we mark it. Our difficulty ratings reflect what new growers actually report — not what the breeder claims. We lose some sales to this. We earn back trust at a much higher rate.
Real lineage, fully documented.
Every Heritage release lists its full parent lineage — including the Thai landrace mother and the working-line father, with names. We don't hide behind 'proprietary genetics.' If the cross is good, the cross is good. Knowing how it was made helps growers and helps the next generation of breeders.
Patient breeding cycles. Three to four years per Heritage release.
We don't ship F2s as 'releases.' Every Heritage strain has been stabilized through F4 minimum, then run through external testers in 5+ climates before the first pack is sold. This is why our originals catalog grows slowly. By design.
Worldwide shipping with a real guarantee.
We ship to yellow-zone countries when other banks won't. We replace seized packages once per year per customer at no charge — Connoisseurs and Founders get unlimited replacements. We absorb the cost because the alternative is leaving customers stranded.
