Our notes on OG Kush

OG Kush is the genetic ancestor of nearly every premium American strain since 2010 — Wedding Cake, GG#4, Girl Scout Cookies all trace lines back through it. Provenance is muddy (the clone-only 'Kush' from Florida via Los Angeles is the canonical story) but the smoke is unmistakable: gassy, lemon-pine, with a peppered earthiness that lingers. Effects come on heavy and happy, equally physical and cerebral. It's not the easiest grow — finicky on nutrients, prone to magnesium deficiency, sensitive to humidity swings — but the reward is a smoke that defines the modern flavour palette. In Thailand, indoor or shaded greenhouse is strongly recommended.
