Our notes on Sour Diesel
East Coast royalty. Sour Diesel earned its reputation through a fast, electric head high that became the unofficial soundtrack of 1990s New York hip-hop and continues to anchor American sativa culture. The aroma is unmistakable — sharp diesel fuel cut with sour citrus, sometimes with a faint funk that reads almost as gasoline rags. Plants are tall, lanky, and slow to mature; not a beginner choice, but rewarding for growers willing to manage the stretch and the long flower. In Thailand it does best indoors or in a controlled greenhouse — the dense humidity can dilute the signature terpene punch.
